you a real look at why you should or
shouldn't put your money at the DoylesRoom
Poker tables and some of the reasons
why DoylesPoker.com may or may not be
the place for you to play.
Summary / Overview of Doyles
Room Review
As part of the Microgaming Network Doyle’s
Room offers high traffic and a secure
playing environment.
Doyle's
Room has opened their doors to players
from the U.S. except
for the following states: South Dakota,
Nevada, Oregon, Wisconsin, Washington
State, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan,
Illinois, New York and New Jersey. Other
than those states, Doyles Room
Accepts USA Poker Players.
The software at Doyle's room could be
much better but the room has plenty
of great promotions to offer.
The tournament action if good with $1,000,000
in guaranteed tournaments every week.
The deposit bonuses can be difficult
to clear unless you spend a lot of time
at the tables. Overall, Doyle’s
Room offers good promotions and soft
tables but has inferior software compared
to some of the other online poker rooms.

DoylesRoom Software Interface and
Download
The software at Doyle’s Room is
a black eye for the site. How's that for
in your face honesty?
The lobby interface is very unorganized
and leaves many new players wondering
how to proceed. The navigation through
the site could be greatly improved. My
first impression was that the software
hasn’t been upgraded in the last
5 years, lol.
The action at the tables is also on the
slow side and the graphics are not very
appealing to the eyes. There are some
cool extra feature such as a buddy tracker.
The software also supports 8 different
languages. Overall, the playing platform
is very archaic and needs a lot of changes.
Here are some screenshots of the DoylesRoom
Software Download
Doyles Poker Room Table. Functional,
not flashy. That's for sure. But
it is efficient and easy to play
poker.
The Lobby at Doyles Room, standard
lobby display including average
pot, players seeing the flop and
the hands per hour. If you remember
the old Party Poker Interface (the
OLD one) this is what Doyles Room
remindes me of, but it is on the
MicroGaming network meaning that
there are plenty of fish about that
makes the sub-par software not so
bad.
This is a screengrab of the buddy
system, more or less you add some
fish to your buddy list and whenever
they are playing, you've found your
table.
Poker Game Variety at DoylesRoom.com
Doyle’s Room offers a wide variety
of games to choose from. Here is a list
of the games they offer:
Of course the majority of games are
found in the Texas Holdem tables, although
there is some action in the Omaha tables
as well.
Doyles Room Player Competition
Level
The overall feel of the tables is fairly
loose. There are many soft tables to choose
from with high flop percentages. The small
to middle stakes NL Hold'em tables in
particular are well known for their high
flop percentages and wild play, especially
in the bounty tournaments that are probably
the most popular type of doyle room poker
events.
Even the high stakes FL Hold'em tables
are extremely soft which is uncommon in
online poker, haha. If you are a higher
limit, limit player then you owe it to
yourself to check out Doyles Room.
Player Traffic
With over 15,000 players logged in
during peak hours Doyle’s Room
definitely has solid traffic. The majority
of players can be found at the Texas
Hold'em tables but most of the other
games also have a healthy amount of
active tables. The only game that doesn’t
seem to be very popular is 7 Card Stud.
Overall, you shouldn’t have any
trouble finding a table at your preferred
stakes.
Bonuses at DoylesRoom.com
Doyle’s Room offers a couple different
first deposit bonus plans. We'll share
each of them with you and you can choose
how you want to proceed.
*We like the Kick Ass Bonus option. :
Doyles Room Kick Ass Bonus Code: KAP110
Use this bonus code and deposit the full
$500 and you will receive a $550 bonus
and get Hard Bound editions
of Super System I and II
in addition to your monetary bonus!
Another Doyles Room bonus option is
is 50% up to $250. This bonus requires
larger number of Action points than
the other plan and will be paid off
in full once you have generated the
necessary amount of points. The other
option is a 25-35% match up to $135.
The 35% up to $135 applies only to Neteller
deposits. If you use any other deposit
method you will receive 25% up to $100.
This bonus requires less action points
per dollar to clear. The bonus will
be credited to your account when you
earn the necessary points.
To choose your bonus, simply visit www.doylesroom.com
and you can choose your bonus from there.
(bonus codes are not needed for the 50%
or 25% / 30% bonuses).
If you plan on playing a lot I would
choose the first option but if you are
a casual player that only plays for
a few hours a week I would pick the
second. The bonus does not expire so
there is no rush to clear the bonus.
Overall, the bonus will take a while
to clear and would be much better if
it paid in smaller increments.
Current Doyles Room Promotions
Doyle’s Room offers a few great
promotions including a Bad Beat Jackpot,
bounty tournaments and a great Action
Points system that rewards players for
their play at the tables. You can use
your Active Points to buy into special
tournaments and even turn them into
cash.
There is a VIP system that allows you
to earn more money per point so if you
play a lot of poker this is definitely
a great promotion. The Bounty Tournaments
are one of my favorite features of the
room. You can win $500 for knocking
out one of the three pro’s (Doyle
Brunson, Hoyt Corkins and Mike Caro).
If you knock out two you will win $5,000.
If you get very lucky and knock out
all three you will win $25,000! The
best part is that you can play in your
first $25+$2.50 bounty tournament for
free. Doyle’s Room will refund
you the $27.50 after you play in your
first bounty tournament.
Deposit Methods
Doyle’s Room accepts deposits
via Visa, Master Card, InstaCash, Neteller,
Giro Pay, FirePay, Moneybookers, Solo,
Delta and ePassporte.
Customer Support
The support at Doyle’s Room is
very good. They offer email, live chat
and telephone support. The staff replies
quickly and is very friendly.
Final Doyles Room Review Summary
Doyles
Room clearly has a long way to go to become
a top tier online poker room, this is
clear, but there are plenty of great reasons
to give DoylesRoom a shot.
if you are looking for a smaller online
poker room that has FUN tournaments (like
the infamous Bounty Poker Tournaments
at Doyles Room) then you should strongly
consider giving Doyles Room a chance,
you might just like what you see. I can
recommend this Doyles
Room vs Cake Poker matchup that reall
details some of the positives and negatives
about Doyles Room.
