Bodog is in a legal dispute over the ownership
of website bodog.com and have temporarily
replaced their site at www.newbodog.com,
which is essentially an exact replica of
the old site, here is more on the newbodog
software situation. Brand new players
need a download also.

The more I play at the new Bodog Poker software
the more I like it. Especially now that
you can choose your own felt color, from
Green, Blue and Red.
I like the green... (yes, i know that is
red).
Some cool new bodog features.
See your folded cards option.
The most interesting feature that they have
added is the ability to see your folded cards.
I don't know if I like this or not, but it
is an interesting feature none the less. Once
you fold your cards, they impose the words
'folded' over your cards and then shade them
in a darker color, you know they are folded
but you can still see the exact two cards
you had, so when you see your hand suck out
to the winner you get especially frustrated!
You can easily turn this feature off if it
is not your thing.
My guess is that they give the option to encourage
looser play. If you see that you just folded
some random hand and nailed the flop, or if
the river gave you a straight you're more
likely to play that hand next time (even though
folding might be the correct play).
Mini-View of other tables.
If you are a multi-table player, this is a
pretty cool feature. They have a new option
that allows you to see a minature view of
the other table you are playing at in a smaller,
reduced window that is still displayed while
you are on your main table.
You can also take action on the smaller table
without actually switching over to it, just
by clicking on the minimized 'action' buttons.
Bodog gets mixed reviews
of the new software.
I've talked to a lot of players at bodog and
played there myself and here is the skinny.
People who played on the old software a lot
previously either quit playing there right
away and went somewhere else, or they have
gotten used to the upgrade and now like it.
People who are new to bodog like the new software.
The real way to decide is to download the
new software and try
it yourself. It's quick, easy and of course
free.
So, if you didn't play at bodog previously
and you play at the new software you're most
likely going to like it. If you plated a bodog
prior to the upgrade (like yours truly) then
you're probably less than thrilled with the
new bodog poker software. You can read (and

With bodog's new poker launch, it is the first
site I've played at that doesn't have you
graphically sitting at a table. What I mean
is that you and your competition are not 'sitting
at a poker table' per say. Yes, you are playing
poker but there are no graphics displaying
a table. Instead, the entire table is the
'playing field'.
The play is not as fast as it used to be.
The bodog poker client is a little bigger
of a file than most online poker clients and
takes a bit more computer power to process.
It still runs faster than most online poker
rooms, but not at the blazing speed that Bodog
Poker was well known for.

the best sites to play multi table tournaments
