WSOP 2006 Officially Underway
The famed yearly series of poker
tournaments is officially underway. Dealers,
and other casino staff get the first crack
in the employees only event. Event #2 starts
today and everyone who can get to the Rio
in Vegas with $1500 in their pocket can play.This
is the tournament that a
handful of Atlanta Poker Club members
played in last year. Here is the 2006
World Series of Poker Schedule and it
is still not too late to qualify, here are
our favorite
ways to qualify for the wsop main event.
Mansion
Poker advertises on a Jumbo Jet
I saw this story about
an online poker room advertising
on on a Jumbo Jet and yup, sure enough
it's true. It turns out that MANSION
POKER, a division of the huge European
online sports exchange and casino, MANSION.com
has purchased full fledged advertising rights
on a low cost European Airline. Bravo I say
for the airline. It generates revenue and
should allow them to keep prices low for travelers.
It worked for me, I downloaded the software
and decided to play there. I'm glad I did,
I found a little known secret. Learn about
it in my personal
review of MANSION POKER. They have a 1
penny tourney with $500 added to the prize
pool every day. It is pulling less than 300
players on average. Other sites would pull
thousands for this tourney. It's the best
low stakes tourney value on the web. Read
