There was an excitement in the air
Saturday afternoon at Chateau Elan. The tournament
started 7 tables deep, with 70 of the top
poker players in the Atlanta Poker Club squaring
off for their chance at a seat in the 2006
WSOP, Event #37. The first thing I notice
as I walk into Chateau Elan is Kaveman in
a donkey suit... That's right, Kaveman, Chateau,
donkey suit. , I'll repeat that one time...

Both to star in tv's,
the "Surreal Life"... Phil, I recommend
that you teach Macho Man all the finer points
of poker, then tell him repeatedly that he's
the biggest donkey you've ever seen. Over
and over. Seriously, you can tilt him if you
really work at it. If the donkey thing doesn't
work by itself, then I'd try confusing him
with Hulk Hogan and telling him that he screwed
himself out of $300 million when he let the
chance to be the spokesman for the "Mean
Lean Grilling Machine" slide to George

Grudge Match Rounds
2 & 3 - APC vs. GPA
The Atlanta Poker Club and the Georgia
Poker Assocation have squared off once prior,
with the victory going to GPA. The two clubs
are poised to go head to head again for the
second time on Saturday, June 17th and for
the third time on Sunday June 18th.
Round 2 is live event, scheduled
for Saturday, June 17th at Dos Copas of Medlock
Bridge Road. More
