for the World Series of Poker. We gave ourself
a $500 bankroll dedicated to spending on trying
to qualify, and we looked for the most profitable
and realistic paths to reach our objective
of getting a seat in the World Series Main

Atlanta Poker Club celebrates 2 year anniversary
at Southern Comfort and gets new leaderboards.
Thank to the 96 Atlanta Poker Club members
who came out to Southern Comfort to celebrate
the APC's 2 year anniversary! Congratulations
to Jeff Hannah who was the longest lasting
APC player who played in our very first event
back on 4-20-05! Jeff outlasted the other
9 APC'ers who played in the very first event!

Playing AQ in early
position- theory.
You've got a strong hand, something like AQ
or AJs but you are in very early position,
under the gun or the next seat. Your starting
chip stack is low in relation to the blinds,
sitting at 1200 chips with the blinds at 100/200
and due to go up in about 9 minutes. What
do you do, do you fold it and wait for a better
position to push in, do you go all in knowing
that Aces, Kings, Queens, AK and probably
Jacks through 9's will call you, or do you
limp in looking to see if you hit the flop
