It was a good tournament. The Joelarbear played
the most aggressive poker I've seen out of
him in a very long time, and Fuller was the
pot-sized betting fool! Very competitive and
very good poker!
If you are leary of playing online poker but
are interested in what it is all about we
highly recommend playing in our private tournaments!
Online poker is always funner when you play
against people you know!
Oh Yeah, Spry will have a Bounty on
his head this Sunday! See if you
can take his chips...

As
most of you guys know I'm a pretty big fan
of online poker. I've been playing online
for over 2 years and have consistently won
at lower stakes online poker. I'm going to
start giving a report of my weekly win or
loss rate.

My second favorite site:

the Review
I played a little NL ring game at Bodog Poker
for some nice profits. No Limit is a different
animal than limit in my opinion. You have
to get paid when you make a big hand and avoid
paying off other players with 2nd best hands.
I made the majority of my profits in 1 hand
where I flopped a set, turned a boat and then
checked the river because I thought my opponent
was on a Flush Draw and missed.
Here is how it went down. I hold TT and make
a 3-4x raise pre-flop with 2 callers. I flop
my set with two clubs on the board and I make
a slightly less than half pot sized bet to
see what i'm up against. I get 1 caller.
The turn pairs the board and I hit a boat.
I make another moderate bet and am quickly
called. I'm assuming this guy is on a flush
draw but I'm not sure. The river is a blank
and I decide to check it.
Now, I check here for a couple of reasons.
If he was on a flush draw, he missed and he
isn't going to call any real bet from me.
Since I put him on the flush draw I thought
I would give him the opportunity to bluff
at the pot.
He might think I'm betting my flush draw and
I've missed, or he might think that my check
on the river seems weak and might make a bet
at the pot.
So I check and he bets out about $25, which
is half of his remaining stack. I push all
in and get called. GG, thank you for the money!
I took home 1st place in the Sunday
night league tournament! That was a sweet
victory for me and I think I played some solid
poker.
I also played in the $6500 Guaranteed tournament
at Bodog last Saturday. This was a $15+1 buyin
event and they had $1000 of Overlay Money
in the prize pool! I played a fairly solid
game until I overplayed my pair of aces and
didn't put my opponent on poket Kings (he
flopped a set). I lost all my chips. It sucked.
Bodog is #1 poker room for guaranteed
tournaments with Overlay!
