sitting next to Phil Hellmuth,
and that's Ben N and last years WSOP
winner Greg "Fossilman" Raymer.
Daniel Negranu takes a moment to smile
with Keith Nash in a 'take it yourself
photo'. Notice the guy with the beard
in the middle of the background, weird
looking.

APC
Represents in the WSOP!
June 1st - June 5th
Las Vegas, NV 2005 World Series
of Poker
If you haven't read about the
APC's experiences at the 2005 WSOP then you've
got to take a read through the forum. Nicky
Nichols placed in the money in the second
largest poker tournament of all time.
So Nicky made the money, Ben Nash played with
Evenly Ng and about 2 hours in Phil Hellmuth
sits on Spry's immediate left. It was and
experience of a lifetime and we can't wait
until next year.
Another handful of APC'ers are either in Vegas
or going out soon, good luck to Barry, Pupo,
and Todd, and to Nate and Bryan who head out
soon. Good luck everyone.

Online Poker
As
most of you guys know I'm a pretty big fan
of online poker. I've been playing online
for over 2 years and have consistently won
at lower stakes online poker. I'm going to
start giving a report of my weekly win or
loss rate. We'll see how I do between now
and the Vegas Trip as I plan on taking a large
portion of my bankroll with me to play at
the live tables.

My second favorite site:
FullTilt Read
the Review
Played a little short-handed 1/2 limit this
week for solid profits.
I played in 3 of the $10 satellites that qualify
you to play in the $100k guaranteed on Sunday...
this is the tournament that Ben N. took home
4th place and $7k just a couple of weeks ago.
It's a great tourney and I'm determined to
keep trying to win my way in.
I normally had an extra 45 minutes to an hour
to waste before the tournament started, so
I figured I'd sit down at the 1/2 Limit Short
Handed. The first table I sat at was very
soft and there was very little raising (other
than me). If you your not familiar with short
handed, it is vital to play aggressively,
even more than normal.
I busted out of all of the satellites. I've
got a feeling I'm playing too tightly, either
that or I'm just not catching any cards in
the tourneys. I'm doing ok in the cash games
but seem to tighten up and play like an idiot
early. I made a stupid all-in call in the
first hand when I had top two (AQ) on a board
of AQJ75... lost to KTo. My fault for not
raising more pre-flop and I was out of the
tourney first hand. The hand played to where
I thought this guy missed his flush and bluffed
it, stupid of me. I've learned from my mistake.
I still haven't done another Bracelet
Race at FullTilt.
These are $24+2 buyins with around 100-150
people and the with the winner gets a $2000
package to go play in one of the smaller events
at the WSOP, just like the one we played in.
I probably couldn't go back to Vegas right
now anyway.
For those of you who played at Noble
Poker (read
the review) they've got one of the coolest
promos online right now.
If you are a Sit-N-Go fan
they've got a SNG table called 'Maui' that
has a $15k bonus attached
to it. It cost's $5.00 +.50 to play
and if you win 5 times in
a row, they throw in a bonus
of $15,000! Check their Terms
and Conditions as they will disqualify you
if they think you're colluding or see soft
play.
6foot3 won $7k
at the $100k Guaranteed tourney
at Bodog. Nicely played man, keep
it up. 4th place is very respectable
in this huge tourney. There was around 40%
of overlay (extra money added) in this tourney
and he qualified for $10 bucks, Not a bad
ROI!
Here is Bodog's
tournament schedule and just
look for the tourneys that have a Guaranteed
Prize Pool... these nearly always
have overlay! They've got eight guaranteed
tourneys.
I'm Starting Over!
