Online Poker
As
most of you guys know I'm a pretty big fan
of online poker. I've been playing online
for over 2 years and have consistently won
at lower stakes online poker. I'm going to
start giving a report of my weekly win or
loss rate. We'll see how I do between now
and the Vegas Trip as I plan on taking a large
portion of my bankroll with me to play at
the live tables.

My second favorite site:
FullTilt Read
the Review
I played very little online poker this week.
Other than the FreeRoll
we played on Sunday I probably played less
than 2 hours overall and probably ended up
exactly even. Winning a little bit playing
$50 buyin NL at Bodog and loosing a little
bit playing $50 buyin at FullTilt.
I bubbled out of our online
tourney on Sunday but had excellent practice
playing a short stack. About 6 hands in I
was down to 180 chips and was short stack
tourney wide by FAR. We start with 1500 chips
and we really had just started. Hopefully
I won't need this experience in the WSOP event
on the 4th but if so then this might turn
out to be a timely lesson. I ended up finishing
4th and had a legitimate chance of winning.
Well, unless I try one tonight I'm not going
to win a Bracelet Races tourney
at FullTilt. These are $24+2 buyins with around
100-150 people and the with the winner gets
a $2000 package to go play in one of the smaller
events at the WSOP, and if enough players
sign up the top 2 players get the $2000 package.
I only played in 2 so I guess I shouldn't
be that suprised, heh. By the way, FullTilt's
new design is very very slick.
Noble does have a very cool
promotion going right now. If you are a Sit-N-Go
fan they've got a table called 'Maui'
that has a sit-n-go bonus attached to it.
It's only a $5.00 +.50 tourney
and if you are good enough to win
5 times in a row, they throw in a
bonus
of $15,000! Check their Terms
and Conditions as they will disqualify you
if they think you're colluding or see soft
play.
Check out Bodog's
tournament schedule and
just look for the tournaments that have a
Guaranteed Prize Pool...
these nearly always have overlay! they've
got eight guaranteed tourneys.
