Online Poker
As
most of you guys know I'm a pretty big fan
of online poker. I've been playing online
for over 2 years and have consistently won
at lower stakes online poker. I'm going to
start giving a report of my weekly win or
loss rate. We'll see how I do between now
and the Vegas Trip as I plan on taking a large
portion of my bankroll with me to play at
the live tables.
I had a good week
of online poker! I played a couple of SNG's
over at my favorite site, Bodog
Poker and did fairly well. I
also started playing a little 6 handed NL
Ring action at FullTilt
Poker.
Bodog has guaranteed tournaments every day
that have 'overlay'. This means that there
aren't enough people in the tourneys to cover
the amount that they guarantee. For example,
I just checked out todays
tournament schedule and
they've got eight guaranteed tourneys.
Most of these will have overlay. If you like
multi-table tournaments then I think Bodog
is offering the best bang for your buck. You
can get in for as little as .50c. The $10,000
guaranteed has a buyin at only
$25+2. Not too shabby!
I busted out in one SNG at Bodog and took
2nd in another for an overall profit of around
$50 bucks. I did really well over at
FullTilt.
Until last week, I had only played about 30
minutes over at FullTilt.
Maybe because it is just because I won, but
it is FUN to play at FullTilt! The interface
is smooth, the Avatars with four different
emotions add a new level to the game. Not
to mention that the competition is horrid.
For the first time, I tried my luck at the
6 handed NL Ring game. (previously i'd only
play at a full table of 9-10 players) I'd
buy in for $50 with blinds at .50/1.00 and
see if I caught any cards. I played 4 sessions
and had an overall profit of $355. I didn't
lose a single time and I know it was partly
because I caught cards, but it was also fairly
easy to push people off of their hands. Be
warned, NL Ring game is a volitale game and
I know that as well as I did this past week
I can just as easily lose that much this week.
We'll see how it goes though, until I'm proven
otherwise I'm going to continue to try my
luck at FullTilt.
FullTilt is also offering a bonus of 10
MILLION dollars (check
out the article here)if you qualify through
their site and then go on to win this years
WSOP main event. Hey, not bad and they do
have great online WSOP qualifying events.
Bodog extended their 20% Deposit Bonus for
us! The best part is, the bonus money
is there shortly after you make your first
deposit, no raked hands, just deposit
and poof, free money! (they
say 24-48 hrs)
Bodog has a World Series of Poker
Qualifying tournament every day for
only $33 bucks. For every 9 players, 1 advances
into a Semi-Qualifier tournament that will
be sending 1 player out of 50 to the WSOP
(including buying/hotel). Click
here to sign up at Bodog.
More and more APC members are joining me over
at Bodog! I hope to see everyone over at Bodog
soon. Bodog is a huge online sportsbook
- trusted and reputable. The poker software
is great.
