It was a great Championship event! Thanks
to everyone who came out to play and to
Jeffreys for hosting this event. Join
us in the forum to give us your take
on the event. I've heard that there was
a lot of good play, and some pretty bad
play too. What did you think?

Thanks to everyone who plays at Hooters!

APC VEGAS
TRIP -
June 1st - June 4th - Las Vegas, NV 2005
WSOP!
Does anyone know
a good Travel Agent ??? If you want to go
click
here and let us know.
We're going... who else
is in?
If you are interested in going to Vegas
around June 3rd for the World Series of
Poker then let us know! We are planning
a trip out there to take advantage of one
of the smaller buy in tournaments, the $1500
NL Event on June 3rd. This is a bracelent
event and there will most likely be some
satellite tournaments running for very reasonable
buy-in amounts. Post
in the Forum if you are interested in
going.
Let's talk
online poker! (want to play? -
Compare
Online Poker )
As most of you guys
know I'm a pretty big fan of online poker.
I've been playing online for over 2 years
and have consistently won at lower stakes
online poker. I'm going to start giving
a report of my weekly win or loss rate.
We'll see how I do between now and the Vegas
Trip as I plan on taking a large portion
of my bankroll with me to play at the live
tables.
I took a break
from Empire and Party Poker this past week
and only played a little.
I did finally start playing my small account
on Bodog and I am very glad i did. I really
like it and will probably be transferring
a larger bankroll over there as it is juicy.
I played some .50/1 NL. Sat down with $50
bucks and after about 3 hours of play over
a few different sessions I'm up to just
around $90 for a gain of $40 bucks.
What I did like was that on average the
players were as bad as the bad players you'll
find on Party and Empire and that there
were many less strong players than you'll
find at the others places. How is this for
a NL table. Limp, Limp, Limp, Limp, Limp
and then check/check/check UNLESS they hit
their hand then they make a small bet.
I think it is due to the fact that most
of the players at Bodog are very novice
players. They originally went to bodog to
bet on sports. (Bodog is the #1 online SportsBook).
They win some money on the Basketball game
and just watched the World Poker Tour the
night before... It's time to play some poker!
THANK YOU BAD PLAYERS.
The interface is probably now my favorite.
It is easy to play, easy to see exactly
how much is in the pot, who is still in
the hand, who wins, what they had, what
the board has etc. It also has an option
that tells you exactly what your hand is
(ie, if you hit a straight it will say 'Straight
to the Ace". This is great for beginners
or those of you who don't pay attention.
Bodog also has a great WSOP satellite program.
I'm getting in at the $33
level.
If you're looking for a new place to play
online poker then give bodog a try.

here to download the Free bodog
poker software.
So I didn't play much online poker last
week. The monthly goal isn't going to happen
unless I just get a great run or if I cash
in some of the upcoming Multi's I'm going
to try (WSOP
Qualifiers!)
Last weeks results: $+38
Total hours played = +-3
Current Bankroll = $899.00
Alltime high ($1108)
Alltime low ($45 - initial buyin of $50
Goal by the end of March - Bankroll = $1200.
