MY FIRST STEP
TOURNAMENT
In last weeks shuffle I talked
about playing in a Step Tournament online
at PartyPoker.
Well, I won my way to the very top rung
of the Step Tournaments - This is where
you play in a "Final Table" Tournament
with 9 other competitors.
The buy in directly to this event is: $1000+65
(top 4 are in the money).
1st Place is $4500 and 4th place was $1200...
needless to say it was a substantial prize
pool.
I bought my way into this event for only
$11.
The way it works - 5 individual
1 Table Tournaments stacked
one on top of another... imagine a ladder
with 5 different rungs. You can buy into
any rung you choose... the cheapest rung
is at the very bottom and the 'final rung'
is at the top.
Once you buy into any of the rungs you are
either going to cash for at least $1200
or nothing at all. You can learn more about
them by creating a play
money account for free and playing in
the free versions of the tourneys.
If you finish in the top 3 of your tourney
you either advance up the rungs one level
or repeat the same level again for no additional
charge. I worked my way through the lower
ranks winning my first event, finishing
3rd in my 2nd event and having to repeat
(3rd place wins a 'repeat'). I win my repeat,
win step 3, win step 4 and get an entry
into the big money $1000+65 buyin. You'll

competitive poker tournament
in Atlanta, hands down. If you can win
here, you can win anywhere. Don't be
late.

Braselton - Ok, I played (and worked)
at this event last Thursday and I've
got to tell you guys, WOW! If you haven't
been out to this Jeffreys then you are
missing out. Nearly 100 Players! KEEP
