Home Game
Robberies:
Ok, this is ridiculous. The grapevine
tells us that at least 5 home games have
been robbed over the past month or so. It
started with that game in Sugarloaf that
many of you know about... It's esclated
from there to at least 4 more that we've
heard of. This is total bullshit.
Someone reading this shuffle right now knows
someone who knows someone who knows who
is behind these robberies. It is time to
turn these criminal thugs in and end this.
Someone is going to get hurt and the situation
is going to get ugly. We know there has
been no violence, but this is a situation
for violence and someone is going to get
hurt and the people responsible for these
robberies are either going to end up hurt,
in jail for life or dead.
If you know who is doing this contact your
authorities and put an end to this. Join
the forum thread about this and add to it
if you've heard of a game thats been hit.
If you have any information about those
involved, or if you've heard anyone bragging
about it then please do the right thing.

Same structure as last year - Top 40 this
time. We'll announce the Grand Prize Info
as soon as it is confirmed. We've got 500

already as well as some other cool things
this year.
Southern Comfort is holding their Championship
on Saturday the 29th of January

Eye for Poker?
Most of you know that one of our most consistent
and longest playing regulars, Jay Jones,
recently won the Charity Poker Tour Challenge
that was devised by another regular John
F. Well, since then we've came to learn
some disturbing information about this event
and something just doesn't sound quite right.
A long story short, the organizer of the
CPT, a person named Brent Burns (or Brent
Hannah, or Brenton D Bruns II - depends
on when you met him I guess) is now claming
that the ATF will shut down his championship
event. On top of that, the grapevine is
telling us that the Grand Prize, that Mercedes
SUV, is actually a used vechile with around
60k miles on it... Not quite what the championship
was devised as. It sounds bad, it looks
bad and I don't know how it is going to
conclude but we'll keep you up to date here
as much as possible. Check the forum for

Anyway, Congrats to Jay for winning the
challenge laid down by John. We thought
it was a very cool idea and gracious of
John to do, hopefully it will come to a
positive close. We honestly don't know what
to say about this turn of events.
