SPRY
- Welcome to the Weekly Shuffle, a Kickasspoker.com
exclusive. This weeks shuffle takes a closer
look at the difference between free poker
tourneys like ours and ones for real $$.
Just exactly how differently do people play
when there is real money on the line versus
a free tourney... Do people really play
a lot different? Are there many more bad
beats? You might be suprised with some of
our non-scientific results...

We need as many as possible to take advantage
of this link. (i have to be honest here,
it feels really weird to try to convince
people to accept free money, lol). We need
big numbers to show up from the
APC to keep these kinds of specials happening!

APC Tourney Info
John F. has made a very gracious offer for
all of the APC regulars. I'll let John tell
you in his own words. Read
more here.
The trip to Tunica was a blast!
We all played lots of $$ poker and guess
what? We heard nearly as many bad beat stories
as we do at our free tourneys! Now, I don't
know if it was just at the limits that people
were playing in, but people still chased,
people still got lucky, people still called
raises with trash, people still caught miracle
cards and bad beats were dealt!
With free poker, there is obviously less
on the line for individual players... it
isn't as scary to go all in with a bluff
when if you get called, "eh... no biggie,
it is only free $$" but what was suprising
was that even when there was real money
on the tables that people still didn't seem
to 'play good poker'... I guess that is
the nature of the beast and we as poker
players need to understand that bad beats
are just part of the game. Good players
will always suffer more bad beats than bad
players... we should welcome bad players
to our tables as they are the ones that
will, eventually, increase our bankrolls.
Ahh... poker - gotta love this game.
Online Poker
Online poker is different than real poker
at a table with live opponents. Online,
you can't look at your opponent and see
if they are nervous when they bet, you can't
look for tells... But neither can your opponents.
You can stand up and shout when you hit
your miracle card on the river giving you
the nut straight and a sucker is betting
into you! You can swear at the screen when
some idiot sucked out on you by hitting
a runner runner flush on the river... online
you don't have to worry about tells in a
traditional sense... it is a different animal.
Anyone can play and win online poker with
play chips... the chips
are just for play. You click another button
and wah-lah you get $1000 more play chips.
Play all you want, all night long. Its easy,
you win and what the hey, may as well call
an all in bet with T2o, if Doyle can win
with it anyone can right?
Playing poker online with real money
is different than playing with play
money. You have to experince online
poker with real money to
be able to judge for yourself.
If you've wanted to try it out for real,
then take a look.
We've worked a sponsorship for anyone who
has played at one of our live events. You
use our link, go to our sponsors site and
they will give you $20 bucks real money
to start your bankroll with. Yeah it is
not huge, but it is a starting point to
build your bankroll. Place or win a tournament
and you've just doubled, tripled or who
knows what to your bankroll...
If you want to try it, then go to our unique
link and follow the instructions. We
appreciate it.
If you do decide to play online, please
take advantage of our links.
We offer many specials unique only to KAP
visitors and every click helps support KAP.
