SPRY
- Welcome to the Weekly Shuffle, a Kickasspoker.com
exclusive. If you didn't get a chance to
go with us to Tunica last week you really
missed out! We had a great time and played
a LOT of poker. The poker action was 24/7
and I believe a few of our members set a
new record for personal poker play.

News
The trip to Tunica was a blast!
We are already talking about going back
in January and being a part of the World
Poker Open in Tunica. If you guys are interested,
lets seriously consider it!
Thanks again to Charles and Lynn at Casino
Adventures for sponsoring our trip to Tunica
and getting us a great deal on the travel.
The poker was intense! Many APC regulars
were playing at the $2/$5 no-limit table.
Some pots topped $1300... Jeff Hannah was
involved in one just hand where he flopped
the nut straight against two opponents.
Unfortunately for Jeff, one of the opponents
sucked out on the river by hitting one of
his 6 outs for the boat (he held two pair),
costing Jeff a huge pot.
Another interesting thing is that people
encountered nearly as many bad beats as
they do at the free tourneys! Even with
real money on the line people still make
bad calls, bad plays and dish out the bad
beats.
Congrats are in order for Jeanne (i hope
this is spelled right) Clark for chopping
1st place at the tournament on Saturday!
She chopped with a few others for $500 each
and also won the APC prize for the last
standing APC member. Congrats! I guess our
Season I champion should just leave the
cards to his wife as she played most excellent
poker all weekend.
Who held the record for the most poker play
this weekend? Altho I don't have official
scoring, I have to believe that Nate won
that record, staying up for 44 straight
hours and playing high-stakes poker nearly
that entire time. Nate, you're a mad man...
I know a few others played some marathon
poker but I don't believe anyone topped
Nates non-stop poker.
Online Poker
Online poker is different than real poker
at a table with live opponents. Online,
you can't look at your opponent and see
if they are nervous when they bet, you can't
look for tells... But neither can your opponents.
You can stand up and shout when you hit
your miracle card on the river giving you
the nut straight and a sucker is betting
into you! You can swear at the screen when
some idiot sucked out on you by hitting
a runner runner flush on the river... online
you don't have to worry about tells in a
traditional sense... it is a different animal.
Anyone can play and win online poker with
play chips... the chips
are just for play. You click another button
and wah-lah you get $1000 more play chips.
Play all you want, all night long. Its easy,
you win and what the hey, may as well call
an all in bet with T2o, if Doyle can win
with it anyone can right?
Playing poker online with real money
is different than playing with play
money. You have to experince online
poker with real money to
be able to judge for yourself.
If you've wanted to try it out for real,
then take a look.
We've worked a sponsorship for anyone who
has played at one of our live events. You
use our link, go to our sponsors site and
they will give you $20 bucks real money
to start your bankroll with. Yeah it is
not huge, but it is a starting point to
build your bankroll. Place or win a tournament
and you've just doubled, tripled or who
knows what to your bankroll...
If you want to try it, then go to our unique
link and follow the instructions. We
appreciate it.
If you do decide to play online, please
take advantage of our links.
We offer many specials unique only to KAP
visitors and every click helps support KAP.
Check out PokerMoves
for another page of great poker links.
Well, that about sums up this
weeks shuffle. Remember you can read all
the past
shuffles to get a first hand account
of the progress of the site.
See you at the tables!
