Tunica Trip

Again, thanks to Casino Adventures the APC
is putting together its first (of many)
trips to Tunica.
When: November 12th –
14th.
Who: 30-45 APC Members
– first come first serve. (18 currently

What is Included?: Airfair,
transportation and 2 nights at Sams Town.
There is a $50 buyin tournament on Saturday
with re-buys that most of us will be playing
in. They have poker going on 'round the
clock at Sams Town. This trip is going to
be lots of fun and we hope to see everyone
there!
Greg's Ride
If anyone participated in Greg's
Ride and has pictures of the event,
please send them to us! We hope this was
a lot of fun and it was for a good cause.

Bowling Alley! Come out and join us. There
are lots of new players at this location
and we had over 30 people for our first
tourney ever last Wednesday. We hope to

7:30.
Jeffreys in Suwanee has decided to charge
a $5 cover charge... this news is directly
from the management and owners of Jeffreys
and we are just passing the information.
We were told that they would either charge
the cover or cancel Poker Night... they
decided to charge the cover.

How about Annie Duke! She played great poker
in The Tournament of Champions event on
ESPN. Talk about an exciting table of poker.
You've got the 10 best poker players in
the world battling it out for 2 Million
dollars, winner take ALL. Annie got a little
lucky against her brother, Howard Lederer,
and hit a set of 6's against Howards pair
of 7's and then it was down to her and Phil
Hellmuth. She check-raised Phil 6 times!
Phil had finally had enough and decided
to make a stand with top pair. Annie turned
over K-10 for top pair, better kicker. Phil
was his usual self and cursed for hours.
It was great poker!
If you have the $1500 to shell out for Josh's
Poker
School, then by all means do so. Funny
thing is, it is probably well worth it.
