WSOP Report
Now that we've all watched the World Series
of Poker on ESPN we can finally begin to
chat about it. As most of you know, Josh
Arieh finished 3rd at the WSOP and he is
going to play at one of our events this
year... Now, I don't know Josh personally
as we've only spoken on the phone a few
times, but the image that we've all been
introduced to from the ESPN coverage is
one of well... let's just say he didn't
seem like the friendliest player we've met.
Naa, let's say it like it is (Josh, if you're
reading this then it really won't come as
a suprise to you - I'd love to post a rebuttal
from you, or even your side of the story,
just shoot it in email and we'll put it
out) Josh seemed like an arrogant ass. Now
lets all remember that editing can do some
tricks with the scenes and portray someone
in a light that is less than favorable,
and Norman Chad certainly unloaded on him
with both barrels, but Atlanta's own was
definately the 'bad guy' of the tournament.
Whether the editors purposefully did this
or not, we won't know, but I'd still love
to play against a player of Josh's caliber.
You'll all get a shot at him as he will
be playing at a location or two this season.
I can say from the brief conversations I've
had with Josh he certainly seemed a class
act and a genuinely good person. He is obviously
(even Norman Chad kept saying) is a great
player and it would be a great challenge
to go against him in a pot.
If you want to learn the game at a different
level, and you have the $1500 to shell out
for Josh's Poker
School, then by all means do so. Funny
thing is, it is probably well worth it.
Let him know KAP sent ya.
Online Poker
If you ever decide to play poker online
please remember to use one of our links!
It helps support KAP and keep our site going
strong. We do appreciate it!
Here is a great bonus running at one of
our sponsors:
Deposit $20 - get
up to $200
The
Gaming Club (a huge online poker house)
approached us about a month ago and made
us an offer to promote their poker room
to our players. I've downloaded the software
and played a bit there... It's great. For
those of us skeptical about online poker
this is the offer to try. You only
need to deposit $20 bucks and they will
give you up to $200. Click
here to download the software and learn
more. If you're interested in trying it
out but aren't comfortable with the online
deposit option, speak to us at one of our
events. We have some creative ways to fund
your accounts!
We've nearly sold out of this run of Hats.
We've only got a few of each color left
in stock. Let's get these sold so we can
get our next order in! T’s are $15
and Hat’s are $20.
Well, that about sums up this weeks shuffle.
Remember you can read all the past
shuffles to get a first hand account
of the progress of the site.
See you at the tables!
