of Poker has been most excellent this year.
They are showing all of the final table
events, not just the Texas Hold ‘Em
events. They showed the final table of Razz
this year, which looks like a horribly frustrating
game to play. If you haven’t been

APC News
It’s been a big week for
the APC. Our events are growing with new
locations seemingly weekly! Last week we
had our second event at the Wooden Nickle
and our first event at The Office. Thanks
to all of our players who made it out to
these events. Our newest location, Southern
Comfort, will kick off our first even there
on the 27th of this month. This is a great
location and we hope to see lots of you
there.
I’d like to mention our grand prize

Championship Week Info
You have two more weeks to earn points at
for an invitation to the championship event!
These next two tournaments will be the last
events that will count towards this seasons
standings. We will have tournaments on the
last two weeks of the month, but one of
those will be the Play against the APC Staff
tournament and we will have one other fun
tourney to end the season. So this is it,
play your cards well and earn that seat
at the championship event.
The Jeffreys locations are having championship
events at the end of this month. The championship
event in Suwanee is scheduled for Sunday
August 22nd. The championship tourney date
at Alpharetta is still undecided but will
be around the end of this month. These events
will be invitation only and the top 50 in
points will have a guaranteed seat. Exclusive
members at each location will be eligible
to play even if they are not in the top
50 in points, but they will enter the tournament
as an alternate. These will be the only
alternates in the championship tournaments.
Although this is an invitation only tournament,
we encourage everyone to come out
and enjoy these events.
There will be lots and lots of poker
going on other than the championship tourney,
lots of awards and prizes to give away and
a truly special event. Even if you’re
not the season one winner, you can watch
the APC crown our first ever season one
champion. It's going to be a party, so get
there early for all the action!
