So how does it work? Well, "It's
all about the points!"
To give you a little background, four APC
members played in the 2005 WSOP (Nicky Nichols,
Jason Spry, Ben Nash & B.C. Hamer).
Several others also made the trip to Vegas,
but only these four plopped down $1500
for the right to call themselves WSOP veterans.
Well, after this year's event, all that
made the trip in 2005 have pledged they
will be back again in 2006! We all had such
a great time, we've decided to make Event
#2 of the WSOP, our event.
It was just too fun to miss!
So, we're going again
next year and we want more APC'ers to make
the trip. Many have already pledged to go
and next year's trip is already in the works.
Well, to make it even more interesting the
APC is putting together a promotion, which
began on July 5, 2005 and end with a winner-take-all,
APC/WSOP Championship Tournament to be held
in May 2006 (date pending).
The top 50 APC points earners over Season
4 and Season 5 (which is now in progress)
will get a starting seat for the big event.
Season 4 (Jul 05 - Dec 06) and Season 5
(Jan 06 - May 06).
The final details and structure is still
being decided (we are going to consult our
players to find the best/fairest structure),
but the key will be accumulating points
from all locations, including our online
events.

The points leaders from all the combined
APC locations will play in an invitation
only tournament, with the winner taking
home the $1500 seat to Event #2 in the 2006
World Series of Poker.
Points will be calculated as they have been
through the first three seasons... we will
also be running many more special events
where you can collect extra points, double
points and much more. All announcements
will be made in the Weekly Shuffle and on
