Busted near the end of day 1 and that is sooo painfull to type. Started at the feature table and was coasting nicely running my stack up from 30k to 44k in the first level and a half. took 3 river beats in hands i was crushing my opponent and then lost QQ to 44 and AsQc to Ac4c where I opened from the hi-jack and he defended from BB...2h5dTc flop that he lead (never thinking im losing this pot in position) and i called....turn Jc he checks and I bet, he calls. river Kc. He leads I call. Pretty bleh.

My first level and a half was all on the feature table with Daniel Negraneu. Not sure what they will show but there is a hand that I get 3 outed in that i regret the line I took, I'll explain in detail why if it airs...which I think it will.

Quite upset to be out, more than I ever thought I would be. Overall the things I would change if I could go back today wouldnt change the end result and are just minor mistakes that actually worked in my favor today, but not in the long run. Not my day, not my time...whatever you want to call it Im happy with my play and cant control much past that. Being said, I dont think I could be more depressed over busting a tournament. Quite upset.

Sorry to hear that Barry. I totally understand.

I had my aces cracked in the Venetian Deep Stack yesterday after 9.5 hours of play. I am very upset that I went out of the tournament but happy with the way I played all day long. Not much you can do. If it's not your day it's just not.

I'd love to hear more detail on that J9 v. Daniel 8-9 hand. And if you get a spare minute or want to share, I'd really like to hear Daniel's bust out hand also. I read on his Tweets that he is very sick and felt like he played really badly.

To be honest i havent gone to bed yet and really need to but the J9 to 89s hand is worth discussing...so Ill get to that another time. Overall Daniel is the one player that made me get more interested in playing...and to be sat at the ESPN feature table with him to start day 1 of the WSOP main was just WOW. However it wasnt long that I felt comfortable playing pots with him and wasnt scared to go with my reasoning when I felt i was ahead or could pick up the pot. Furthermore It wasn't long before he was playing more passive against me and I was able to control pots I entered. A truely awesome feeling that had me go from nervous to confident in a matter of a round of play.

Still, as rewarding as that is, I feel brutally crushed that I am out. I took some gross beats and couldnt recover. Always next time I spose....but to be out of this is just depressing.

Thank you for all that support, I really do appreciate it.
