Default Question about withdrawing from Bodog....

Hi all.
This is my first post ever on any forum. And I apologize in advance if this topic has been already discussed. Has any of you Bodog players ever had to fill out a credit card verification form to withdraw from Bodog? I have to send out photocopies both front and back of the card I used to fund my account.
So not only do they have your card number, but that three digit number on the back of the card also. My main concern is that if fallen in the wrong hands, can somebody create a replica of my card and use it? Are we giving out too much information here? Or am I just paranoid?
My wife's identity got stolen a year ago and took month to fix it. And I can't let that happen again. I called customer service and they assured me of their security. I want to believe them. So if anybody had to go through with this let me know.
Thanks.

I can't speak for Bodog, but I know Carbon wants the same info. they want to see the credit card and your drivers licence so that they can see you aren't using a stolen credit card.

I didn't want to withdraw my money from bodog for the same reasons.

Ok. So this is standard procedure. I understand they want to verify age and all that. I thought they had other ways of doing that.

It only took you a month to strighten out identity fraud? Man, you got lucky. Took me 7 years and counting.

What you dhould do is obtain a credit card to use soley for your online play. Also, a dedicated checking account wouldn't be a bad idea. Then, its easier to monitor for any fraud activity and you can easily change the card number.

I would stay away from commingling your real world finances with your poker playing. Plus, it can help you track your results easier.

True. Regions offers a free checking account with a visa debit card. I use that for my full tilt account and have never had a problem.

I was thinking about doing that. I guess its a risk you must be willing to take.
