I don't think or believe you are bleeding money by not playing marginal hands - I bet, over the long term, you are saving money - or, at least, losing at a slower rate. I detect some frustration, but don't be blinded by short term flucuations - that is going to happen from time to time. I've seen this impatience in some of your previous posts - not a critic, just an observation.
For me, the last 2 weeks have been horendous. Spent the weekend in Vegas and if I made a st8t, I got beat by a bigger one. My boats got beat by bigger ones and every time I had AA, they got cracked - every damn time for 4 days in a row. ALl that over about 40 hours of play. Sucks the wind out of you man.
Really bad run of cards and having to lay down monsters when the board got scary ( I was correct each time BTW). That coupled with really bad luck can make one wonder what in the Hell is going on.
I have made several mistakes and did it knowing full well I was behind - hoping that marginal hand would connect with a miracle river - that is fun and exciting but it is not the way to play poker. And won't result in being a winner over the long term.
If you'd like to pm me, I'll be happy to review your play and offer you my opinion, just remember, if I were a pro, I'd not be relegated to Atlanta Bar Leauge poker. But, I do believe I have some basic understanding of the game, and board reading as well. After the flop, I am pretty sure what my opponents are holding, generally speaking anyway
