Hey gang. I want to let you know of a site I have been playing at for the past month. The site is Carbon Poker.

I love the features that they have to offer that some of the other sites don't have.

1. The ability to set up private tables. Now you have a place to play with your friends without worrying with the hassles of setting up a home game.
2. Being able to fold and show just 1 card.
3. The ability to rabbit hunt the hand.
4. The ability to start up an accout for as little as $10.00

If you do set up an acct. let me know here so maybe we can get some weekly games going. I have played on FT for over 3 years now and I love it, but I am sold on Carbon Poker and once you try it I am sure you will be too.

Carbon Poker is pretty cool... we can set up private tables for ring games and school one another without any outside donks. Yall let us know if you get signed up and we can organize a time to play some nickel dime nl ring games.

I'm telling you, this site is da bomb.. I have played 10 $5.50 sng's and have a 65% ROI.. Done pretty well at the .05/.10 and the .10/.25 tables as well... There is a good mixture of fish and good players and they are prety easy to figure out.... One thing they have is a Star ranking system. You start out with bronze stars. Get 3 of those then go to siver then gold. Now this doesn't necessarily mean that a person is good, but you have to play a lot at the cash tables to earn the stars. I have only been playing a month and just now have 1 star. But it does let you know if the player has been playing a lot and if they have, then chances are they have been doing pretty good, or they have deep pockets, but you can use it as a guide. They also show other accolades that let you know if a person has won any big tournaments or not. I do not get a commision for geting anybody to sign up, just saying that this is a very cool site and I love it.

I tested this site with RC and the Poker is promising. Most of us like to play online poker and look forward to the Sunday night game so we can play together.

Carbon Poker will allow us the ability to play a "home" game ---anytime.
That is just the poker.

I was sitting with Big Troy today at Mikes Down Under and he was telling me of his adventures with "The Other Games". That's right. Table games. Carbon Poker offers BlackJack, Roulette, Caribbean Stud and Video Poker featuring Joker Poker, Deuces Wild and Jacks or Better.

I played BlackJack for the first time tonight online and went straight up $200 and then fell back $95 and stopped. Caution!!!!! BlackJack is still BlackJack
Profit: $105 for 40 minutes.

Yeah, I'm wanting to build my roll to around $100 before I take any to the BlackJack tables. I love it, but I usually lose a good bit before I start to come back..

SOMETIMES IT PAYS TO STEAM !!!!!

I just donked out of the FT tourney so I said WTF, I will go play some BJ on Carbon. I had a 40.00 Bank roll. I play 10 hands and I work it up to 60.00. I went to Roulette, I put 3.00 on Black 8 and I put 10.00 on Black to double. JACKPOT !!!!! I am now up to 171.00 and I have left the tables LOL.

Well, I downloaded CP last night. I'm down. Spent too much time chatting and getting familiar with the software and look. But, I can sense this is a place to make $.

And it is super easy to deposit - can't wait to see what its like to make a withdrawal (I kinda feel Mr. Stakes is about to comment on this last sentence.)

Seems that site is linked to a whole family of sites feeding into it and versa vicer. But, I really like the idea of putting together some "home games" on this site - could solve the whole set table debate fairly quickly.

Seems interesting, about to try it again.

I had been away from on line poker for about 2 years. After experiences on 4 different sites, as ridiculous as it may sound, I was convinced that the software was not 100% random shuffle. Something else was built in to deal hands to lure more people into pots & the hands didn't seem to mimic the live experience at our games. Too many quads & boats. Over abundance of ridiculous bad beats, etc.

Carbon poker seems to be 100% random with no BS built in. IMHO

Well John, that's a bold statement coming from you, considering how vocal you have been on the subject. I agree, and I also want to point out that right now the juciest games seem to be the 6 man .10/.25 NLHE games. That is where at least I and a cpl. of other APC'ers have been cleaning up. Glad you like the site and allthough you may not have loved last night I hope we do it again.

I have mixed feelings about that. Yes sometimes you want to say hey, but also, you don't have to worry about railbirds messin with ya and begging for money and all.

Seems to me, online poker is set up for agressive players.
If you are agressive you get better flops, turns and rivers.
Try this and see if it helps.
