Default PokerStars vs. FullTilt

I play online poker. I don't consider myself that good but I do OK. For the longest of time I played on PokerStars. It seemed like all I did was deposit.
Last year I started playing FullTilt and the deposits stopped. (Well mostly)

I decided to try Pokerstars for the fun of it again because I have short term memory problems. I am a low stakes SNG player. I entered in a $5.50 18player SNG. I don't describe hands and situations as well as some here but you will understand what I am speaking to.
Early on I get involved on a hand where I am All-in with black KK. My oponent has the red KK. I get lucky and win with 4 to the spade flush. nh. Not long after, I limp and get to see a flop with KQ. Flop comes AQQ. My opponant bets some and I call. Turn is a blank. Again my opponant bets and I call. The river is a K giving me a boat, (Queens full of Kings.) My opponant goes All-in. I call and loose to AQ. Jeez!!!
OK.
Two hands later I call a std raise with pkt 6s. Flop comes JJ6. Oh boy!!! another Fullhouse!!! Turn is a 3, My opponant puts me All-in and I know I am going to double up. I show my Boat and he show pkt 9s. River is a 9 and I am out.

My observation is that PokerStars hates me!!!!

I take beats sure on FullTilt but I also dont get many Boats let alone get beat by Boat over Boat twice at the same SNG within 10min of each other.
It just seems to me that so many hands are TaylorMade for Hole Cards on PokerStars. (Algorithms)????
I have been beat on FullTilt but usually never to blatent BadBeats.

it's almost the complete opposite for me. I play $$ games on stars and do fairly well... I play $$ games on FT and I get stacked again and again.

Here are our reviews of PokerStars.com and FullTiltPoker.com.

I love Poker stars. I have gone to Full as the play on Stars seems to in a tight mode rt now .It changes form time to time.I play on Bodog but hate it at the moment as I have gone over 10 sessions with no pairs of any kind .I am letting Bodog rest now. I rate these three as the best for me.

I've never played at PokerStars, but have on FT and Bodog. I have been taking some pretty bad beats on FT lately. That coupled with my bad play has left me nearly broke on FT (Bodog too for that matter). Last night was sick when my AA was cracked by KK when a K came on the flop. I know it happens, but it doesn't make me any happier about it.

You play a lot more hands in on-line poker than you do live, so you’re going to see weird shit more often. And, there’s no way one person could play enough hands at a poker site to say that one is different than the other.

As for comparing the two, Poker Stars has a lot more players, so there should be a lot more bad players. I’ve always won more at Stars than Full Tilt.

I've done better at FT than I have at stars. I also personally have always liked the interface better although some people will disagree with me on this as well.

Deposit $50 and you'll be good to go for a while.

To answer your question, yes there is a way to transfer $$ on fulltiltpoker. Currently FT also seems to accept your bank debit card for an easy deposit.

FullTilt has changed their $$transfer rules.

The way I understand it is that an account must have at least 90 days of deposit history before it will allow that account to use any $$transfer function.

So the best way for a new account to play is to deposit initially using said methods. Once this is established, after the 90 days you can transfer between accounts or players.

Linda White called me last Sunday afternoon about depositing and I told her that I thought the bank card might be the easiest, she called me later and told me that she had set up epassport and get that set up. I had heard the epassport took some time, but apparently it was very quick for her.

now that the initial rush to set this up has passed, it is much easier / quicker.

This thread inspired me to develop one of our old domains, Compare Online Poker where we pit poker room vs poker room against one another and see who wins.

Hey, I'd like a favor from any of you guys willing...

If you play at both Full Tilt Poker and at Poker Stars, could you leave some comments over at Compare Online Poker?

I'm looking for your thoughts at the bottom of this PokerStars vs FullTilt article.

Much thanks in advance!

FullTilt has something new in the Heads Up Tournament Rooms. At the end of a heads up session, the software now holds both players in the room for a moment and gives both players the choice of a rematch. Heads-UP Players are now given a choice to accept or decline a rematch.
