Ok this is pretty interesting. Essentially as soon as you fold you are dealt another hand at another table right away...

No more down time, no more waiting for a new hand (as if online poker isn't 10x faster than live already but now as soon as you fold you're in a new hand at a new table with new opponents)...

So I was just reading about it on another forum. Supposedly you can quick fold and bounce. He was saying you can just bounce till you get a good hand and play it. How is this going to work? There is going to be soooo much of this happening you would think. HHmmmmmm

It is great, FT has found a way to get you to your bad beat even faster. Saw about 30 hands in under 5 minutes played 2 hands, 1 was a raise then all fold, last one was flop top set, rainbow non linked board, asked nicely by 2nd set to put all my chips in the middle, obliged, turned the boat, 1 outed on the river. Normal FT expectation but now I only invested less then 5 minutes to get what it would take almost an hour.

Tried this myself. . . tripled my buyin in 25 minutes. Had AA 4 times in 6 minutes.

Hate it.

It's not poker.

It's fold til you have the nuts. How in the hell is this poker? No reads, no history. . . just crap shoots on EVERY hand.

Kinda hard to put the UTG 7x raise on a hand with the mp flats and the CO shoves and you have KK. . .

How is this good for poker? The fish will FLOCK to this and play nothing but JJ+ since they can fold their way there.

it's certainly not poker in the traditional way. Less edge for the sharks / stat tracking programs. It is going to make the games pretty nitty i think. There will be value in picking on the nits.

don't know whether or not it is good for the game, but it is the most innovative thing I've seen come out of online poker in quite a while.

agreed... so many more hands.

now the issue will be is a bigger percentage will be folded to pre-flop raises and therefore no-rake taken but I'm certain FT analyzed and or will analyze that constantly and do whichever gives the most overall rake.

The only thing I really don't like about it is you don't get to "go around the table and wait for blinds". I was in the BB and SB like 6-7 hands in a row.

Ok seriously. . . this is like crack. I hate it and what it stands for in regards to the future of poker. . . but I can't stop!

Come into the office to smoke real quick during a commercial and why the hell not log on for a few hands. . . .10/.25. 4 minutes later had AA twice, KK once and QQ twice. I've doubled buy in and now get to see what the secret ingrediant is in Iron Chef America.
