Differences between cash and STT

On the surface it looks like tournament poker and cash game poker are one and the same game and although they both play to the same rules, they are both entirely different games altogether. The standard texas hold em strategy you may employ in a cash game simply will not work in a tournament scenario and vice versa.

Freeroll placing

So i popped into 888 and saw a omaha tourney and registered. i played good, got lucky when had to and finished 44th out 858. Got .25c for my effort and am sold on the site. i've yet to deposit their but will be in the near future. Hoping to catch another freeroll their for omaha... well, i'll be checking in more often

One of the most difficult decisions to make when you are learning how to play texas hold em poker is when to call it a day, or night, cash in your chips and quit the session. Some players prefer to wait until they have made a specific amount of money, others when they have been playing for a certain amount of time.
