Becoming a grinder

The term grinder first became a common part of a poker player's vocabulary after the 1998 film starring Matt Damon and Edward Norton, Rounders, although it has been around for much longer than the film. It is a term used to describe someone who “grinds” out a living from poker by playing cash games day in day out and one that is over used in today's game, in my opinion.
