Here is the seating list for the Championship. As you know the Top 50 will be guaranteed a seat. We plan on running 7 to 8 tables. Top Ranked Alternates will be seated accordingly. I will follow this post with the Blinds Structure to be used.

Q: How many chips will we start with?
A: Any player ranked 11th down on the overall leaderboard will start with 3000 chips
6th-10th will start with 3500 chips
2nd-5th will start with 4000
The overall points leader will start with 4500 chips!!!

Register at noon - cards fly at 1 pm


A few things -

The championship starts at 1:00 and I am going to do everything in my power to have it start on time.

At 12:45 I will start passing out seating cards to alternates.

If you are a Top 50 player - and NOT there at 12:45, there is a good chance your seat will be passed down to the first qualified alternate and you will be placed as an alternate according to your ranking when/if you get there.

I don't do this to be mean. We want the best over-all tournament experience for everyone. This is a Championship event that all of you have worked very hard to qualify for - not a normal nightly event.

If you are going to be late - please let someone know to get word to me at registration. If you are a Top 50, I will hold your place until cards fly, but I will not allow a seat to blind down until you get there.

Again, this is not to be mean - this is to protect the integrity of the event and make it fair for everyone. Thank you for your understanding


Another thing, we still need dealers. It would be great for this special event to not have players/dealers but the only way to do that is to have others volunteer to deal for us.

If you are towards the bottom of the qualified list as an alternate, and I know that you know how to deal, don't be surprised if I ask you to deal until it is your turn to play. Ask, beg, bribe.... something like that.

Also, IF you bust out early, it would be wonderful if you could stick around and deal some for us.
