Fair enough guys and this is something we will definately have changed... As far as romeo goes for the suwanee championship, he claimed that he had some 1st place wins that didn't get recorded and had a few others there agreed that yes he had won once and finished in the top 3 a couple of times. He said he never got on the site to see the points.
as far as players without points at all playing, then yes i agree these shouldn't be allowed as they can totally ruin the tourney. As you guys know, they wouldn't have been eligible for the Tunica Trip if they had won, but I hear the reasoning behind not letting them play at all.
so, to shamrox et al we appreciate the feedback/constructive criticism and will make the necessary changes.
truthfully, the championship events are always a work in progress...
what do you guys think about this... i'll use Hooters as an example since this is the one that started this thread.
40 players max, Top 30 have a seat, top 40 guaranteed to play and Top 55 may be seated if there are seats, or alternate seats available, 56+ will not be allowed to play regardless.
This way, we still have a 'full' tournament and only people who have at least scored some points over the course of a season will be playing and the bar is also satisfied on the turnout.
