To build your
own table you'll need to:
1. Choose the type of Table
you want.
2. Make sure you have the correct Tools.
3. Make sure you have the correct Supplies.
4. Develop a simple Schedule
to keep you on course.
1. Choose your table.
Poker Tables come in many different
shapes, sizes and colors and can be
customized in many different ways. Look
through the plans below to find one
or several tables you like. Build one
similar or design your own.
Most of the tables listed include
plans, photos, drawings and other
helpful items you can use. We suggest
printing them so you'll have them
available while building.
2. Make sure you have
the correct tools.
Now that you've decided on
a table you'll need to make a list
of tools you will use throughout the
build. Some of the plans above include
the tools you will need. If not included
make a list of your own. At minimum
you will need the following:
Circular
Saw
Jig
Saw
Hammer
Drill
Staple
Gun
Sander
3. Make sure you have
the correct supplies.
Now that you have your list
of tools you'll need to make a list
of supplies. Some of the plans above
include the supplies. If not included,
make a list of your own. At minimum
you will need the following:
MDF
or other inexpensive, solid wood
Felt,
Velveteen or other cover fabric
Foam
padding
Vinyl
Nails
Screws
Staples
Spray
Adhesive
Glue
Sandpaper
Saw
Blades
Poker-N-Stuff
has the supplies you'll need.
4. Develop a simple schedule.
Time spent on the table will
differ depending on a number of factors:
the
type of table you choose to build
accessories
such as a padded rail, cup holders
or dealers tray
your
experience
your
plan
and
many other factors
We suggest you write out the steps
to build your table, then do a dry
run to make sure everything is in
order. Also, "measure twice and
cut once" - it's easier, less
expensive and saves time to do it
right the first time.
