Harrah’s Releases 2010 World Series of Poker Schedule
Joe Cada wannabes, check it out! The schedule for the next World Series of Poker, the 2010 WSOP, has officially been issued, and it looks to be the best World Series of Poker yet.

It’s got 57 braceleted poker tournament event spread out over 51 days, again at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Vegas, hosted by Harrah’s, only this time the events will take place over two rooms in the Rio rather than one. This in response to overwhelming boom in WSOP entries over the past couple of years.
This coming year sees the end of the $50,000 HORSE championship, but in its stead will be a $50,000 8-game mixed-game championship. HORSE hasn’t left the building entirely, just brought down to a $10,000 HORSE championship instead.
The other big new event on the 2010 WSOP schedule is a new high rollers event, a 6-handed No Limit Holdem event with a $25,000 buy-in.

As always, all the major (and most of the minor) online poker rooms will be running satellites galore for free entries into various 2010 WSOP events. Some of these satellites, as a matter of fact, are already underway.
The 2010 World Series of Poker is set to take place from May 27 to July 17 with the next November Nine playing out the final table of 2010 WSOP Main Event from November 6 – 9, at which Joe Cada will no doubt be fighting vigilantly to claim his seat and defend his title. Remember, he, and his predecessor Peter Eastgate, both got their seats in the WSOP Main Events they respectively won through an online poker room satellite.
