European Championship of Online Poker VI – ECOOP 2010
Titan Poker’s European Championship of Online Poker is back again for a 6th go-round. Starting this past Monday, May 24th and running through June 4th, the Titan Poker ECOOP VI tournament features 14 days of 14 main events with a prize pool guaranteed at over $5 million.
The Titan Poker ECOOP VI Tournament begins on the heels of its lower buy-in, lower prize pool counterpart, the Titan Poker MiniECOOP VI, which just finished up another successful run itself. It seems clear that the Titan Poker ECOOP VI will easily follow (or surpass) as well.
Two of highlights of ECOOP 2010 are consecutive $500k guaranteed events:
- A high-roller event with a $2,500 + $100 buy-in on May 31st (event #8).
- If that’s too rich for your blood, then you can vie for the same prize pool the previous day for only a $500 + $35 buy-in on May 30th (event #7).
- The singular highlight of the entire Titan Poker ECOOP VI series, of course, is the final event, #14, the main event, with its $1.5 million prize pool.
One special new part of the European Championship of Online Poker is a “bounty tournament” where several of Titan Poker’s most recent additions to its team of professional online poker players will have a bounty (most of the $1,000) awarded to the player who knocks them out of the tournament – this on top of the guaranteed prize pool divvied up amongst the top finishers in each event.
Of course, if a member of Team Titan Poker wins their own respective bounty tournament, then no bounty is awarded.

Hollywood Poker Celebrity Classic Tournament Offers Big Knockout Bounties
The Hollywood Poker site has an outstanding promotion available to all online players called the Celebrity Poker Classic, in which the site is giving away $500,000. Even better, they want to give HollywoodPoker poker players even more cash prizes along the way.
Here’s how the HollywoodPoker Celebrity Poker Classic works:
- If Hollywood Poker tournament players can get rid of celebrity players in this bounty hunter style tournament, then more loot will be added to your pile.
- An online player can earn $40 dollars for every celebrity they knock out.
- Each time a player knocks out a celebrity, they also get 3 Bounty Hunter points, and are added to the Hollywood Poker Bounty Hunter Leader Board.
- To be a Bounty Hunter Leader, a player must knock out as many celebrities as they can and stay in the top five every month on the board.
There are three HollywoodPoker Celebrity Bounty series poker tournaments for online poker players to play: HollywoodPoker Celebrity Poker Classic (offering the best cash rewards), Michael Woods Celebrity Invitation, and Canadian Poker Nite. Play in all three tournaments for a better shot at winning even more money.
The top five Bounty Hunter Leaders in the Celebrity Poker Classic are rewarded with cash prizes: $500 for 1st, $400 for 2nd, $300 for 3rd, $200 for 4th, and $100 for 5th.
For the Michael Woods Celebrity Invitation, Hollywood Poker players will be awarded $20 for each celebrity knocked out, and earn 2 Bounty Hunter Leader Board Points. As for the Canadian Poker Nite series, players can earn $10 for each knocked out celebrity, and 1 Bounty Hunter Leader Board point.

Party Poker Tournament Offering WSOP Main Event Seat for Life
The Party Poker site has just upped the ante with its newly launched Party Poker WSOP for Life promotion, in which some lucky poker player can win a free seat to play in every World Series of Poker Main Event for life (or the next 20 years, which ever may come first).
To get to the Party Poker WSOP for Life Grand Tournement finale, there are plenty of satellite routes:
- Starting with daily WSOP for Life Freerolls or WSOP for Life Sub-Wualifiers with $1 and $4 buy-ins.
- These seed into one of the dialy $32 + $3 WSOP for Life Qualifiers ,which in turn seed into the WSOP for Life Grand Final.
The mondo Party Poker WSOP Main Event for Life prize will be awarded, as well as two 2010 WSOP prize packages for the two runner-ups, at the big WSOP for Life Grand Final Tournament on June 20, 2010. A $300 + $20 event with 5th through 50th places splitting the cash as part of the prize pool.

PokerStars Baltic Festival Returns
The PokerStars Baltic Festival will take place June 16-19, 2010 and will be held the beautiful city of Tallinn, Estonia.
The first Baltic Festival ever held was just last October (in 2009). It included 24 countries with 307 players – creating a total prize pool of over 300,000 euros!
The 2009 Baltic Festival main event winner was UK’s Thomas Partridge, who took home over 75,000 euros. Findland native Ville Wahlbeck was the high-roller winner, and Shaun Deeb, the American PokerStars passport winner, took second place.
After the amazing outcome at last years event, the Baltic Poker Festival has increased the buy-in to 1,500 euros (the buy-in was 1,100 euros last year). As for lower buy-ins, this year now offers a buy-in of 400 euros in the No-Limit Hold’em event and 250 euros in the Pot Limit Omaha game.
All of the PokerStars Baltic Festival Tournament cash games will start June 15th, 2010 and will last throughout the festival. Here’s what’s in store:

Titan Poker Starts 2010 Irish Winter Festival of Poker
The 2010 Irish Winter Festival of Poker tournament has begun! In Titan Poker satellite tournaments, players have an opportunity to win free entry to the Irish Winter Festival main event in Dublin, Ireland.
This Titan Poker tournament began May 9th and will continue through October 10, 2010 – with the Irish Winter Festival taking place October 22 to the 25th in Dublin, Ireland at the Burlington Hotel.
Titan Poker is running three different satellite tournament structures, so players have three different paths to a Titan Poker Super Satellite Tournament where the 2010 Irish Winter Festival of Poker prize package will be given away.
- The direct buy-in is €165 + €15 and each satellite takes place every Sunday night at 19:45 GMT.
- All three structures allow players to choose between a Titan Poker Stage 1 Sit & Go” satellite or a Titan Poker Stage 1 MTT Satellite. Both will run daily, all hours, day and night.
- The buy-ins will range from low to mid-range to high-stakes.
- The satellites offer a range of poker playing styles, including re-buys and/or add-ons, as well as turbo and/or short-handed events.
