Titan Poker Hosts World Challenge For 2010 WSOP Main Event Seats

The turn of the year has come and gone, and with 2010 brings renewed anticipation for the World Series of Poker and its $10,000 Main Event. While many online poker rooms will soon be offering their personal brand of satellite opportunities to win a free seat in the big U.S. based tournament of annual tournaments, one of the first to do so is the biggest online poker room in Europe, Titan Poker, with its World Challenge.

The TitanPoker World Challenge is set up in a unique and different way from most online satellite tournaments, dividing the initial 18 weeks of competition up into regional league based contests that will be tracked on a pair of leader boards – one for overall individual performance and one based on performance within each player’s region or country.

For the Titan Poker World Challenge, players can only compete against other players in their geographical area.

At the end of this stage of the competition, the player pool will be cut down to only the top 200 players in the world. These top 200 will then compete in 8 ultimate rounds to determine the 5 lucky players who will be among the first this year to get a confirmed seat in the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event for free.

When the final 5 players are chosen to win the 2010 WSOP Main Event prize packages, they will be from 5 different countries or regions, each representing not only the iPoker Network’s flagship poker site, but their homeland as well.

PartyPokerCashMachineKAP

The way Party Poker explains on the site how a cash bonus from is calculated on the site (and on most of the blog postings and web news articles reporting on the story are blindly repeated) is a little confusing. So let us make it clear for you.

PartyPoker bases your cash bonus on how many PartyPoints you earned on your 10th highest-earning day. Cash Machine bonuses are calculated at a rate of $1 for each PartyPoint.

If you earn 1,000 points per day for at least 20 days of the promotion then you win a Cash Machine Booster Bonus ranging from $500 to $5,000.

Players who earn points on at least 10 days of the Cash Machine promotional period but haven’t earned at least 10 points on each of those days will receive a consolation prize in the form of a free entry into a $25,000 Cash Machine Freeroll, to take place on Feb. 3 at 3 pm EST.

The Basics Of Online Poker Bonus Whoring

For those of you who have been slugging it out in the trenches trying to make money at 1 or 2 poker rooms, it can seem like a grind. And if you’re just breaking even, your bankroll may be constantly flirting on “Empty.” A lot of you know about the bonuses offered by our top-rated poker rooms, but haven’t developed a system for using them to your advantage. Today, we’re going to change that.

Here’s your 3-minute guide to online poker bonus whoring.

Starting Small

First, we’re going to assume that your stock portfolio has taken a beating lately and as a result, you’re on a limited poker budget. Let’s start with $50. Visit PokerStars.com and use bonus code “stars50” to get your 100% match.

Once you’ve played enough raked hands to clear your bonus, withdraw your bankroll. Assuming that you’ve broken even, you should now have $100 (your original $50 plus the $50 bonus).

Now, visit FullTiltPoker.com and use bonus code “kickasspoker” to get another 100% match. After you’ve cleared it, you should have $200. Again, we’re assuming you’re breaking even on the tables.

Next, let’s jump over to Sportsbook Poker. You can get a 100% match on your $200 bankroll by using bonus code “kickass“. Hit the tables, play enough raked hands, and withdraw your bankroll. By now, it should have grown to $400.

Think about that for a moment. You’ve gone from your original $50 bankroll to $400 by taking advantage of the sign-up bonuses at only 3 online poker rooms.

That’s how basic bonus whoring is done.

2 Quick Notes

We need to clarify a couple of points here.

First, you can really knock this strategy out of the park by keeping your eyes open for reload bonuses and other promos. If you time it right, you can do even better that what we’ve outlined above.

Second, keep in mind that bonus whoring works best with small amounts. If you’re depositing $10,000, the poker rooms aren’t going to give you a 100% match. If you find any that do, let us know!

There are several great poker rooms at which you can use this strategy. Read our online poker room reviews to plan your system. If you need to, start small and work your way up. Leave the poker rooms that offer larger bonuses at the tail end of your system.

How’s that for a little dirty fun?

How To Earn Your Full Tilt Points

A lot of you have seen our complete review of FullTiltPoker.com, but haven’t started playing there yet. Full Tilt is where a lot of the biggest names in poker (for example, Phil Ivey) spend their time. It’s one of our favorite poker rooms and we want you to get involved, too. Today, we’re going to tell you how you can earn Full Tilt Points and take advantage of their $600 New Player Bonus.

Before we get started, here’s the Full Tilt Poker referral code that you need to use in order to lock in your bonus: “kickasspoker” (or just click here).

Funding Your Account

Full Tilt Poker is still offering their 100% match on your first deposit up to $600. Here’s how it works, step by step:

Step 1: Make your deposit.

Step 2: Start playing.

Step 3: Earn your Full Tilt Points automatically.

Step 4: Enjoy your bonus.

The Details

Once you make your deposit, Full Tilt will credit your account with points each time you play a raked game, a tournament, or a Sit & Go. The number of points you earn varies by the type of game you’re playing.

For example, in ring games, you’ll receive 1 point for each $1 raked from the pot. You can earn up to 3 points per hand. For tournaments and Sit & Go’s, you’ll get 7 Full Tilt Points for every $1 you pay in fees. There’s no ceiling. You can earn as many points as you want that way.

Each point that you earn is worth $.06. The points keep collecting in your account until you reach the equivalent of 10% of your deposit or $20 (whichever you reach first). Then, that amount of your bonus is released to you automatically.

Click here to visit FullTiltPoker to get started.

Two Quick Examples

Let’s say you deposit $100 into your Full Tilt account. 10% of that would be $10. Once you earn 167 points, $10 is released to you. Pretty easy.

Let’s say you deposit $300. 10% of that would be $30. You won’t need to wait that long because you’ll reach $20 first. So, once you earn 334 points, $20 will be released to you. Again, easy.

How Long Do You Have?

Full Tilt Poker gives you 120 days to earn your points for the 100% Match Bonus. Trust us, that’s plenty of time, even if you go for the entire $600.

By the way, you won’t need to keep track of anything. The amount of cash in your account and your Bonus points are displayed clearly within the Cashier Window. Everything happens automatically.

If you haven’t taken a look at the 100% Match Bonus, click here to do that now. It’s one of the most generous poker room bonuses you’ll see. Frankly, we’re not sure how long it’ll stick.
